Amy is a physical oceanographer at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and joined the June 2018 cruise as the PI from the Overturning in the Subpolar North Atlantic Program (O-SNAP). Her blog chronicles both her science and her experience as legally blind scientist working at sea, and is part of her outreach program aimed at blind and visually impaired learners of all ages.
